Lyrext is for saying it with a song: trash talk after a game, a song for someone you love, the perfect reaction in the group chat. Keep it fun for the people you send to and for everyone in Browse.

Welcome

• Moments that are funny, sweet, petty, or say what you mean better than you could.
• Explicit songs. They're allowed.
• Friendly trash talk, the kind your friends will send right back.

Not allowed

• Harassment, bullying and threats, including sending lyrexts to someone to frighten, shame or target them.
• Hate: attacking people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar.
• Sexual content involving minors, of any kind. We report it to the authorities.
• Personal information: someone's address, phone number or other private details in a lyrext's words or tags.
• Impersonation: handles, names or pictures that pretend to be another person, artist or brand.
• Spam and misleading lyrexts: words that aren't what's sung in the moment, mass-created lyrexts, or tags meant to game Browse.
• Audio you don't have the right to share. See copyright notices.
• Anything illegal, or that encourages violence or self-harm.

What we do

We may remove a lyrext, change a handle, or suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, depending on how serious it is and whether it keeps happening. Removed lyrexts stop playing for everyone.

Reporting

If a lyrext breaks these rules, email TODO@example.com with its link and what's wrong. A report button on every lyrext is on its way.
